Can anyone tell me which day the Tea with Wendy is?
When do you pick up your tickets? Has anyone not been
able to get tickets?

Thanks!

My memory may be failing, but what I remember from last January's eastern trip: On Saturday, they had a time period to pick up tickets in front of studio sea. When I arrived, I was told I had no choice between Sunday & Monday, because "Sunday" was full. I got the Monday tickets, and realized, on Monday, that our tickets actually said Sunday. I didn't feel like checking in with guest services to see if anything could be done, so we didn't even try to go.

We picked up our tickets on Sunday and had tea on Monday. Watch your navigator for times for pick up. There seemed to be a lot of tickets given out. They hold this in Studio Sea. It was really sweet but quite short. My daughter really enjoyed it.

How do you go about doing this? Do you have to pre-pay? How much does it cost? I'm sorry for all the questions but this is the first time I've heard of this?

Another question...Is Tea with Wendy available on the 4 day? I know certain activities are only available on the 7 day. Thanks!

You don't have to pay....it's a freebie! I don't know if it is offered on the 4 day cruise or not. :-)

Hi!

Just got back from the 4 day Wonder 3/9.

Tea with Wendy was free, and there was no sign-up (Our ship was full, so it must always be that way). You just had to show up with you child in time. This took place the 3rd night in the Oceaneer's Club (for the 7 and unders). My 3 yo DD thought this was the best part of the trip hand's down. My older daughter made Flubber the same night in the Lab, and loved that.

On our three day cruise, my dd in the 3-4 years Club had a scheduled activity in the club called Tea with Wendy. My dd enjoyed it.

Thanks! It's a relief to know that it will be there for my kids. Both my son and daughter are huge fans of all the characters of Peter Pan so this will be a big treat for them.

Luckymommy,

If your kids are fans of the Peter Pan characters, make sure to take them to the Disney Dreams Show. You will not regret it. The premise is that Peter Pan visits a young girl and shows her how the dreams of many of the Disney characters have come true, and how hers can come true to. Great Tink and Peter stuff. My DDs were enthralled.

We, too, just got back from the 7 day Eastern. Our Navigator stated they would give out tickets to the tea on Sunday at 9:30 AM. I went down with my daughter AT 9:30 and the line was HUGE. We ran to the end of the line and waited about 5 minutes and it did not seem to move. I explained to the gentleman ahead of me that I wanted to run my daughter down to the character breakfast we had schedule at Parrot's Cay and would be right back. He understood my dilema and promised to save my spot. I was back in line within 5 minutes (my original spot) and there were at least 30 people behind me. As we approached the table, it was clear there were not many tickets left. The nice man in front of me got the last two (he felt TERRIBLE). I asked the CM giving out the tickets if there would be another tea, and he explained there were only two - Sunday and Monday, and all the tickets were GONE. He told me, and ONLY ME, to just "show up" and act "like you own the place" and take a spot. He explained that some people take ten to twelve tickets and then bring only four or five people, and surely there would be room for us.... So we showed up for the tea, a little early, took a table and "owned the place". It turned out fine - there were several empty tables... They never took or looked at the "tickets" that were handed out. The tea was very short and sweet - and my daughter LOVED it... I wish I would have brought one of my sons with me, as he may have been chosen to be one of Wendy's brothers to sit at her table. Hint - if you have sons the ages of 5-10, dress them up nicely (collared shirt, nice shorts or slacks) and sit near the front and they WILL get chosen... Good Luck!!

I wonder why you have to get tickets on the 7 night and not the 4?? The boats are the same size. I really think that when they make you stand in line for something, they create an artificial demand for it (like those people getting way more tickets than they need). Like Tickle Me Elmo several years ago for Christmas. That was artificial demand if I ever saw it!

Thanks katiemegcz, I will check out Disney Dream show! I read about it before and thought it sounded amazing. I just hope they don't decide to switch shows before our sailing!

For the 4 day cruise, the Tea with Wendy is an activity for the Oceaneers Club versus on the 7 Day it is a limited Family activity (not part of the kid's club) that requires tickets.
