Tea with Wendy Darling?

Can anybody tell me about Tea with Wendy Darling? Do they still do it? When? Is it just for kids or do parents go too? Will the grown ups be bored, or is it nice for all ages? How do we sign up?

We just got back from the Eastern January 19th-26th and had tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter in Studio Sea. Did not see mention of Wendy's Tea at at all. (Guess it replaced it?) I had heard not great things about Tea with Wendy, but thought this might be fun...

And it really was! My dd's aunt joined us.

I did tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter with DGD's. I thought it was cute for younger children. We enjoyed it and you get a great photo opportunity.

It was switched to Alice and the Mad Hatter a couple of years ago. My DD and her pals loved it.

Hi,

We signed up for tea with Alice and Mad Hatter, but that was cancelled and we ended up having tea with Wendy. It lasted about 15 minutes and included tea and a cookie while Wendy told the story of Peter Pan. We didn't find out about the change until we were at the door, so my two boys (5 & 6) weren't overly impressed; however, I bet my daughter (2) would really have enjoyed it. We are going out again in '09 and if they offer Tea with Wendy, I could see taking my daughter to it since she will then be 4.

Do they do this on the short cruises?

I don't believe they do it on the shorter cruises. My DD5 loved pouring tea for my DH, DN and me.

It is done in the 3-4 yo club on the shorter cruises...a modified version anyway.

Last Year we did have tea with Wendy and the guest before us did Alice. I think it is whom they have on board to play what role. I will go back and find old links to this same question on the thread. Happy sailing.....
