Tea with Wendy? anybody do this?

The "official" Tea with Wendy, where it is a separate ticketed event for kids of all age, is only on the Magic. However, when we were on the Wonder last fall, the Oceaneer Club had a scheduled activity one day called Tea With Wendy during which Wendy visited the Club and had tea/told the Peter Pan story. It wasn't quite the to-do that it sounds like on the Magic, but it was the highlight of my DD's cruise none-the-less.

My DD7 really loved this event! We were seated in Studio Sea at a table that had tea (iced) and "biscuits" (cookies) waiting for us. Wendy comes in and selects two boys to fill in for her brothers. She then talks about how to have tea and tells everyone a story. Afterwards, everyone is invited to have their picture taken with Wendy.

That picture is a favorite for my daughter, and she has taken tea many times at home since out 4/26/03 cruise.

If you have a young DD, I would highly recommend going.

By the way, on our cruise the Oceaneers Club had a "Who wants to be a Pirate?" event the morning before the first tea. DD loved that as well and it was a wonderful tie in for the tea.

When you say "separate ticketed event", does that mean to have to reserve Tea with Wendy and pay for it or is it included with the cruise.

Thank you for the information.

It is free, you just have to go at a certain time to pick up how many tickets you need. They only have so many seats, but it is on the two days at sea. Just check your navigator each night.

Would a 7 year old son like the tea too or would he roll his eyes at me and say, "MOM, this if for girls?"
