Good luck with the ice water Cam! I know they say it is good for the diet...but I really think they meant to drink it...not to play in it!! :0

Very cute! You are wayyy too adorable! :goodvibes

I know what you mean about cravings and appetite. I am really struggling these days so each day successfully on plan is a HUGE accomplishment for me. I keep saying one day at a time. The worst of it is that I am craving salt so badly that the weirdest thought went through my mind -- what would happen if I just ate a packet of salt. Would that eliminate my craving for chips, pretzels and crackers? Isn't that bizarre? :confused3

Hoping this is just a phase and if I can overcome the cravings each day and satisfy the appetite with healthy bulky food, then maybe I will come out on the other end none too worse for wear. I WISH it were as easy as waving a wand! :wizard:

Go for your walk, Liz! Don't forget your magic beans! :lmao:

I went on my walk....2 miles!!! Yeah!! I also had a little downfall...I ate the chips I have so been craving. On the flip side of the coin, I did order lo carb fajitas with lettuce wraps instead of tortillas...and I got to tell you they were quite delish! So all in all, not too bad.....it could have been better...but it could have been so much worse! Thanks for making me be accountable tonight!!

Well I may not have been eating as good as I would have liked (what I ate was o.k., just quantity wasn't) because I lost 3 lbs this week! Still need to aim for less snacking & more fruit. Keep up the good work everyone!

Liz-those fajita wraps sound good. At least you made better choices than you could have. That always helps! :thumbsup2

I've been doing good this week - didn't get what I consider enough of exercise in this week but I can always work at that :thumbsup2 Food intake: staying on plan. Water intake: It was really good most of the week - yesterday was my downfall though, I was doing a lot of running around so I was just grabbing a soda and going.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Our dinner last night was wonderful. I really splurged and used 15.5 FPs, but that is what they were there for, and I hadn't used any yet this week. I had a fabulous meal with everything I wanted. I didn't hesitate to eat everything I wanted, including 3 small pieces of bread:
3 pcs bread (10)
shrimp cocktail (2)
mesclun salad w/vinegarette dressing & sprinkling of crushed hazelnuts (3)
2 broiled jumbo lump crab cakes (almost NO filler) and a few sweet potato strings (10)
1/2 pc grand marnier cheesecake (6.5)

YUM!!! I decided to forego the wine in favor of dessert. It was a good decision.

Today is easier because I am at work, where I can really control what I am tempted by. ;)

Food today has been good so far. Though I find it very annoying when I make an uninformed choice that turns out to be bad. I ordered a harvest bagel at Dunkin Donuts (dry, no cc, etc.) and thought it would be high fiber and therefore pretty healthy. But it also was high fat. 350 calories, 6g fat, 7g fiber. 7 points! And not very good, I think it had cinnamon and ginger in it. Something about it was kind of weird. Lesson learned! I did earn enough APs on my long training walk/jog to make up for the fruit & nut granola bar I ate to have energy for the walk! :teeth: Ironic, isn't it?

Thanks for keeping me accountable! :grouphug:

I'm afraid I was dreadful this past week. Don't think I stuck with anything. The only good news to report...I went to Target to buy new sausage shorts. Medium fits now! I actually have to take back the Large size because they're too big in the waist :faint:

I'll be away most of this week, so just going to try to do the best I can with limiting overindulgence, making good choices and keeping up with some kind of exercise.
