Oooh, I haven't heard of them - I'll have to check them out! I live just outside of Victoria on Vancouver Island and I buy from a local tea distributor that's been around since 1894. Not long in the the scheme of things. Murchie's Tea & Coffee. If you're ever in my neck of the woods, you should check them out.
I am in your neck of the woods (Vancouver), and I'm very familiar with Murchie's.
I order my Harney and Sons direct to an address in the US to get it, but many resellers have it on
Amazon.ca.
My recommendations:
Black teas: Paris Tea (a good cross between an english breakfast and early grey), Hot Cinnamon Spice (not hot, but a warming cinnamon, great for an afternoon cup)
If you can find it, Cranberry Autumn is excellent, and doesn't get bitter if you over-steep it.
They also have some limited disney tins: Snow White (Apple white tea), Mickey Mouse (black tea with rosehip and vanilla), Jasmine (green tea with Jasmine), Moanna (Mango green tea), and Minnie Mouse (rose scented black tea with caramel). Each tin has 30 bags in it.
If you are into Rooibos, they do a pumpkin spice one that is very nice.
Since you are on the island, check out Queen Bee Farms. They have some very nice teas too.
