Tea drinkers, bags or loose?

The tea thread made me wonder, how do you make your tea. I had a boyfriend a looooong time ago who went to the UK in college. When he came back he brought a tea pot and loose tea. Unless I am in a big hurry I make it in a tea pot with loose tea and a strainer. Once you drink loose tea, tea bags just don't cut it.

Also do you have a special type of tea that you drink. I like Orange Pekoe with a little bit of sugar. I can't stand Earl Grey and I'll drink green tea occ.

This morning I'm drinking coffee with a little bit of cream, no sugar. Go figure.

I don't care one way or another. I like to drink chamomile (sp?) or the Republic of Tea's Spring Cherry.

Plain old Lipton tea bags for me.

I use bags (bought at Costco).
I prefer plain ole black pekoe, but do drinked "flavored" teas sometimes.

Whatever's on hand works for me. I have Orange Pekoe always on hand but I usually start the morning with English Breakfast or Earl Grey

baged, never had/tried loose tea before, sounds messy :)

I like earl gray esp. with french vanilla cremer. I do not like fruit tea, except for orange gardens. I like mint varieties and other flavored teas.

I like bagged tea. I used to get some really yummy loose tea from where I worked but it always got leaves in the tea and ti was a big mess and a pain so I resorted back to bags.

I always use tea bags. Liptons, and British Breakfast by The Republic of Tea are two of my favorites. DD went to Ireland and brought me back Brewley Irish Breakfast tea. I like it too but since no there are no more trips to Ireland in her future, I use it sparingly.

I use bags and will only use Red Rose. I usually make ice tea from the decaff Red Rose and that is what I drink 90% of the time.

I prefer cool drinks but when I have hot tea, I like Red Rose with sugar and a little canned milk. That is how my Grandma made it for me when I was little and still my favorite.

Most of the time I use tea bags now, mostly because I drink more tea at work than at home. I never did make it in a tea pot since I never drink enough and no one else in my house drinks it, but I have had loose tea that I've put in those cup sized tea balls & infusers before (broke many and lost my last in the move)

I don't think I've ever tried loose tea. I don't really have a preference on my tea bag, other than nothing too sweet and not too flavored. chamomile is very soothing though.:) I normally drink lipton's brands (orange pekoe). Last night I had celestial seasonings tummy mint just to try something different. It was, ok, not great (too much mint flavor).:)

Both. I have to admit that I drink more bagged tea because I don't like washing the tea ball. :) I also like bags because they look nice in the cherry tea box on my counter.

I've never tried loose tea go it's bagged for me. Plain Lipton in my Mr Coffee Iced Tea pot. I will try a flavored bag occasionally when I have hot tea.

I use both. On a very cold, snowy winter night I like to use loose so I can make a whole pot of tea.

Usually bagged. I prefer Earl Grey and Vanilla. If I can't sleep I have a cup of honey camomile and I'm out like a baby. I usually have tea bags in my purse so that if I go out to eat I don't have to drink Lipton.

We always use tea bags. DH uses a Mr. Coffee Teamaker and loves it. I usually just get the cheapest tagless tea bags I can buy!
