Well I have started packing :rotfl2: and I have a box of PG to put into the suitcase but I am still uncertain as to whether it is allowed or not. It being our first trip to the US I don't want to start off on the wrong foot can anyone help and let me know will I be in trouble for taking them?

we always take them as US teabags just are not the same - they are more designed for ice tea (urrrrgggghhhhh!) When we got through immigration last year there were ( and I think always are) people asking and checking if you have any food and searcing bags/cases. When asked if I had any food I just replied 'I only have t-bags are they OK - if not I will hand them over' and they said there was no problems - but did ask what was wrong with US teabags - just said that I prefered one brand!! so take them you will be OK

You can take in stuff... just not fruit, meat and dairy products.

We always take in all sorts of things.. never even been questioned.
ALWAYS take in t bags... yucky usa ones. Mind you the water tastes so bad that you wont get a decent cup of tea unless you use bottled water when you boil the kettle!
