TE full for breakfast during free dining?

I hear that most/all of the restaurants are full during free dining, but I'm wondering if that applies to TE, at least for breakfast. We always like to eat there a couple of times instead of doing breakfast in the cabin, but we usually decide that morning that that's what we want to do. Anyone have any judgment on whether we could call on any given morning and get an early breakfast slot, or better yet, just show up?

I've never had an ADR for Trails End during any dining period. Unless it's a holiday they'll usually work you right in.

We ate their twice during spring break last year....the parks were a madhouse...I had no trouble when I called that week to change one of my ADRs to TE, and the place was pretty empty during both our lunch and our 10am breakfast....
