TDS pin roll call!

We have two local stores. One didn't know anything about them -- as usual.
The other will have them and they have the binder too!
Can't wait for the 22nd!
The CM did not know yet if there is a per person limit.

Maybe I will finally find out if there are other local pin nuts! I'll see who else is there at 10:00 am!

You may or may not need to be there at 10 a.m. - we'll have to wait & see. When the 101 pins were sold, we couldn't buy them until 2 p.m. local time each Friday.

During the 101 pins there was a limit of 2 per person the first day of release, but no limit once they were hanging on the rack. But this was before the pin trading thing got as big as it is.

I'm not so much afraid they will sell out. I want to see what other local pin nuts are out here! Finally see if I am the solo local pin addict!
It will be SO nice to walk into a local store and buy a pin! Yahoo!

I saw the pictures of the pins and they are very very nice. I know we have them in at King of Prussia. Also Binders and Bags.

My wife and I got to purchase the pin bag and binders this weekend at the Woodfield Mall store in the Chicago Area.

They are both very nice.

The binder is numbered for each pin 1 to 100.

The bag is a little smaller version of the bags sold at WDW.

They told us pins would be available each Saturday starting when the store opens. This store is now carrying the gallery pins also.

in Baybrook Mall in Houston says they NEVER have had pins for sale. So, is it an option for each store whether or not they wish to sell them?

Got confirmation from our Store manager this weekend that the pins are on the way. Good thing because we already have a trading meet scheduled for Sept 29th (couldn't manage the 22nd). I went to the store today at lunch and was told we are getting notebooks and bags also!! We were afraid because we are now a "concept" store that we wouldn't have them. So all Central New Yorkers, check out The Disney Store at Carousel Center on Sept 22nd.

Is any one in the Boston area going to be the whole set. i can see alot of mini pin meets starting up on Saturdays before the stores open and while in line etc.

the 22nd I'm going to have to be there before the store opens as I have to go to the Red Sox game after getting my pins.

Pin #1 looks like it will be a hot one to get!!!!!!!!!!

Carl, did you ask the Store Manager if they were going to be getting these pins in at the Baybrook store? I sure hope they do! That is where I got the entire set of 101 millennium countdown pins. I will be very disappointed if we can't get the new pins there.

I called my Disney Store this morning and they said they would be carrying the pins. I sure hope so, the next closest store is 149 miles away UUUggghhh.......
I can't wait, this is going to be great!

What made me even think to ask at all, was they had a 50% off sign and I thought that if they had any pins on sale I might pick them up to have for trading. But, when I asked the CM (not manager,) she said they NEVER had any pins in that store. If you bought a set there in the past, she was obviously wrong. Let me know if you find out that they will have the pins this month. If I go again before you do, I will ask and I'll let you know.

Hey Carl! I just got back from Baybrook and I stopped in TDS and talked to the manager. She said that They Were getting the pins in!! YIPEE! I was so happy! She said to be sure and be there (Sat.) Sep 22 to get the first ones. She also told me that she has seen the binder, and it looks almost like a briefcase with a cute picture on the front and she also said there would be a book. I am really excited about it! Anyway, that's all I know for now! Keep me posted, and I will do the same!

YES YES YES here we go again. The disney store pins starting on September 22nd and the best news of all is that they are only$4.00.
It was really fun back in the old days when these pins were out. Gave us something to talk about and help each other.
I will be at the King of Prussia store that saturday come and say Hi. shirley

that they were getting the pins. She did say that they were not in yet, but she was getting them. She was busy with another customer, so that is all she said. Why did she say for you to come in first thing? Is she expecting to sell out? I don't think pin collecting is a very big thing in Houston. You and I are probably one of the few people even interested here.

Hi Carl! I don't think she thought there would be a huge line or anything, I think she just saw how excited I was that our store was going to sell them. I don't think there will be a problem getting the pins, but she did say that she thought there would be a limit of 2 each. The millennium countdown pins were a bit slow to catch on here, but there are more 'pin people' here than you might think. By the end of the millennium pins, I had to go to the other side of Houston to get the #1. I remember being upset at the thought of collecting them all and then not being able to get the last one. I hope we all learned something over that! I wonder if these are going to be LE pins, and if so, how many? I will be sure and ask when I go back. Keep me posted if you find anything more out. Maybe I will see you at TDS when the pins come in! I'm excited, this is going to be fun!

My wife called our local Disney store tonight at the Holyoke Mall and they will be selling the pins, bags and binders beginning on Sept. 22nd - really looking forward to it - we'll be there early.
