TDS Gift Cards...Can you buy

Disney dollars and park hopper passes with them at TDS??

Please call you local TDS and ask this question of a manager. Then write their name down and ask for them when you redem gift cards for park passes or Disney Dollars.

At my local TDS you cannot redem gift cards for Disney Dollars but at other stores the policy may be different.

Just be careful and ask at the store first.

Our Disney Store does allow you to use gift cards to purchase disney dollars. I've done it many times.

Our Disney Store will NOT let you buy Disney Dollars with a gift card. I have tried and tried many, many times.

Our Disney Store doesn't allow the purchase of park tickets or disney dollars with the gift cards either. As others have suggested, I would call your local store manager to verify.

Well, I just called my local TDS.

the clerk didn't know for sure about buying dd's and passes with gift cards. Jeez, hasn't this come up before. She told me it doesn't state otherwise on the back of the card, so to come in and try it.

I have $100 in gift cards I ordered from gift certfs.com to use for our upcoming trip. I get ff miles if I order the cards from that website linking thru NW airlines.

But, maybe it's not gonna happen.

I'll have to go to the TDS to find out, I guess.

If they don't work at your DS,you should see if you can pay on your room with them!

The gift cards are only for the Disney Stores and you could not use them at WDW.

Why are all TDS' uniform in their policies?

Actually all TDS should be uniform with their procedures, as they are written in their Standards of Procedure.

I was mistaken, and no, you cannot purchase Disney Dollars or Park Passes with the gift cards, per Standards of Procedure---called and checked. I am sure it has to do with the fact, that the revenue doesn't go to TDS but to the parks, instead.
