TCD - Full Amount or Deposit

If you book a long way in advance with TCD do you have to pay the full amount or can you just pay a deposit?

Hello,

I have just booked a hol for July with TCD, I paid a deposit of £140 each per person plus the insurance. I think the balance is payable 10 weeks before departure.

When we booked with TCD i think we paid about £10 each deposit,then the rest 10 weeks before travel.I don't know if it was just an offer they had with low deposit or not.I sometimes see there adverts where they oly want £1 deposit.

Yeah I think I was given the option of paying half the deposit initially but opted to pay the full deposit as the other half of the deposit would need to be paid befor the 10 week point anyway.

Was that via the Internet or over the phone?

That was on the Phone, the total price for the hol has the same either way, not sure if deposit options would be different on Internet.

I booked last Saturday 10th march for April 2008 and paid £11 deposit each. The rest of the depost about £130 each is due end of May and the balance 10 weeks before. This was booked over the phone as the web page asks for full deposit.

Me to we paid the low deposit and the rest is due at the end of this month. Final amount due on my birthday in July!!!!
