TCD Car Hire

I was wondering if anyone can help me I have booked a fly drive with TCD and leave in 11 days, our car hire is with dollar and has been payed for but will dollar asked for a deposit??? I just want to be prepared just incase.

Hi yes Dollar will ask for a credit card to swipe, which if you don't have any extra upgrades fuel etc they will return to you when you bring the car back.

I had a car with TCD/Dollar in July and we DIDNT swipe a credit card before leaving the depot. Perhaps this was because we had to top notch insurance?

Hi, we simply had to swipe the credit card. However, no money was taken and I was more than impressed with the whole deal.
