Here come the biggest two awards.

The first is the Leadership Award. This one was SO close. The winner only won by ONE vote!

A leader is someone who, well, leads. They're levelheaded, grounded, and they've seen it all on the DIS. From YAGEs to Newbies to people's illnesses and problems. They know the DIS inside and out, and they're not afraid to lead others through the tough times and the good times.

This is the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award goes to a very, very special DISer. They not only have leadership qualities, but they've, again, seen it all on the DIS. Their post count may or may not be the highest. However, they've been here a long time, and they've seen everything that's gone on in the TB World.

It was, again, a very, very tight competition. However, one made it in the end.

I forgot to mention that when Caitlin sent me the idea for that award, she put quotes around "siblings". Therefore, it was unclear and unfair. I withdrew the award on my own accord due to my mistake.

When I posted the list of awards, I forgot to mention that the best siblings could be "siblings" (like "oh, hey, bro" *nudge, nudge*, "I call them my honorary sibling). So people got confused and nominated actual siblings. I didn't notice this error until after the nominations came through.

Therefore, I made a mistake--that I'm owning up to--and I withdrew the award due to confusion.

Well, we did have people like that nominated. And we have actual siblings nominated. So really if that's what the award meant then whatever the results were should be counted as winner IMO. Unless I'm misunderstanding?
