Taxi's

We are staying at AKL and we are not planning to drive. We will mostly be using Disney transport but on occasions we will be using taxis as we have some ADR's booked pretty early.

Anyone got any ideas on prices for 3 adults and 2 children from AKL to MK and Epcot

I am not sure on prices but the transportation usually start about an hour prior to the parks opening, so you may be ok by getting the first bus of the day. Have a look here for more info.

We took a taxi from OKW to AKL (so similar distance as to Epcot from AKL) and it was over $20. We didn't want to rely on the buses as we had an early ADR and were meeting people as well.

We took a taxi from AKL to Downtown Disney and it was around $20 too. I'd ask the front desk to order a taxi and say how many people its for as they can then send a 6 seater. As said buses start 1 hour before the parks open and that means 1 hour before the extra magic morning hours so you can get to most reservations on time but I don't blame you for wanting to make sure you get to them.

It is on our first day, so no doubt we will be up at 4am anyway, plus it is DD (4) birthday.

I think $20 on a cab is a bargain to ensure we get there on time
