Taxis from resorts

Is it possible to get a taxi from one resort to another around 11:30 PM - 12 midnight. Or do you have to call the taxi company?

There are usually a few taxis standing at the Deluxe resorts but not always at the moderates or values. If you call, they have a data terminal dispatch system that will redirect a nearby taxi to you in only a few minutes.

and want to go to Pop Century to hang out with some friends for the night at their pool bar. Will the front desk have a number for me to call for a taxi? I will be leaving before midnight. Just dont want to go through the hassle of taking a bus to Downtown then changing to bus to Caribbean.

yes it shoudln't be a problem at all.. just have the number with you and you can call from your cell phone.
