so what if you didnt want to take any carseats ( i have 4 kids hence 4 carseats) how do you get from sna to desert inn? i like cheap...but i want safe. how about a limo? i need something that fits 6 people and probably alot of carry on luggage since airlines are charging on that one.

Another CPST chiming in here.... how old are your kids? What do they weigh? A limo isn't any safer than a car, and you will need car seats if your kids are less than 6 years old or 60 lbs. The safest route is to bring their seats or boosters and take a shuttle service/van.

Charter buses are not designed to compartmentalize... school buses are. They are probably the least safe as they don't have seat belts and don't have to maintain the same standards as a yellow bus. They have huge windows with glass that isn't shatterproof.

I have no use for car seats when I ride in a taxi. I find that I have plenty of window view without booster seats either. It makes it so much easier to travel that way.
