Will be staying at aoa sep. 2013. Famuly of 5. Are there taxis from the resort to downtown or other resorts? How much is the average cab fair from the resort to downtown or MK or other resorts?

If you are meaning DTD then just hop on the bus, it's FREE!! Same thing for MK. If you don't want to pay for a cab to another resort you have to leave a little early, but head to the closest park, then to the resort. For example, We are staying BC and have a ressie at Poly. We will probably bus to MK and hop on the monorail to head to Poly.

And if you don't want to do buses you are better off renting a car over taking a cab everywhere.

$15.00-$20.00.

If time is not a concern,I would take the bus to Magic Kingdom and take the boat to the Polynesian.

The boat is such a fun way to arrive at the Poly(the boat will stop at the Grand Floridian first,but just stay on board there).
