Taxi to Magic Kingdom?

Staying at Hard Rock Universal and spending 1 day in Disney this Friday March 18. They open at 8am. First, where does the taxi drop us off? Second, how long will it take us to walk to the main entrance. So, what time should we plan on getting there so we can be at the opening.

Then plan to head over to Epcot via monorail by lunchtime. How long will that ride be? And then finally, we need to take a taxi back to our hotel after dinner. Best way to walk over to Beach Club and pick one up there? Thanks!!

A cab will drop you at the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center). From there you will have to either ferry or monorail over to MK. That could take up to 30 mins, including wait times. You may be better off having the cab drop you at the CR and then walk over to MK..takes about 8-10 mins.
To be there for 8am, I would leave HRH by 7ish....30 mins to MK, then time to get to the park itself.

To get to Epcot, you have to get to TTC..takes about 15 mins via the monorail (not including waits) or about the same with the ferry. The monorail ride itself, from the TTC to Epcot is about 10-15 mins.

Exit Epcot via the rear door..International Gateway, in between England and France, and just keep walking until you get to BC on your right. Takes about 5 mins or so.

So in the morning...taxi to Contemporary and walk straight to MK? And that way I bypass the TTC?
And I'm looking at 30 minutes to get from MK to Epcot? Yikes. Trying to get there in time for a Soarin' fast pass. I've noticed they're selling out by 2pm, but this week will probably be even busier than last!
