Taxi to grocery store?

If we're staying at POP and want to get to a store to buy some bagels, etc, what sort of price are we talking about? I know we can have things delivered, I was just wondering incase we needed something we forgot.

If it's just a few things, isn't there a store at the resort? It wouldn't pay to just pick up a few things to take a taxi. I've never stayed at Pop, but all the resorts I have stayed at had some (yes, overpriced) items available.

If you need a large order, you can save time and the hassle by using Garden Grocer.

Oh, and maybe bring on some non-perishable things in your bag. Or, I have shipped a box to some resorts before with breakfast items - maybe $20 or so to ship. Saved time while I was there!

Current taxi fare in the Orlando area is $2.20 for the first 1/4 mile and then 55¢ for each additional 1/4 mile (or 80 seconds of waiting time). In addition, there is a $0.50 surcharge on all rides (except the surcharge is $1.00 to or from the airport).
