Taxi/Shuttle Bus/Rent a Car? help

Does anybody know how good the shuttle buses are from The Liki Tiki Village, which is only a few miles away from disney world? Do you think I'd be better off paying for a taxi when going to and from the parks? Or is it worth renting a car?

I can't speak about Tiki Liki Village specifically, but I've never heard of anyone who was particularly happy with the shuttles at any offsite hotel. A cab is going to get expensive - figure an average of $65 round trip. I would rent a car.

You could contact the hotel and ask what the shuttle schedule is, and see if you can make it work for your family. But I wouldn't stay off site without renting a car.

I agree with the PP; taxi will be expensive and most folks seem dissatisfied with the offsite shuttles. You'll have to pay for parking (unless you have an AP), but a rental car will give you the most flexibility.
