Taxi Services and Costs

Hey Gang
Just wondering about the Disney taxi service.
I was looking at transportation times to and from the various parks and coming back to our resort looks like it will take a long time.
Can I call for a taxi to pick us up at the parks or is it like New York and it's a free for all? lol
And how much is the average fare? Is it astronomical?

I'm curious about this too as I will have to taxi to an early morning ADR on my upcoming trip.

Bell Services at the hotel can call a cab for you. At the parks they will just all be parked out front and you grab the first in line.

we took a cab from WL to AKL for our very early ADR at Boma, and the Cab was just waiting out side the hotel ... I believe it cost us $20.00. Then another time it was raining and we took a cab to CR I can't remember how much it was ... but not that much.

I think it depends on what hotel you stay at ... but the wait times/travel time on the bus was not bad at all !! I think the most we had to wait was 20min for a bus at Down Town Disney (and that's because we had just missed the last bus) and then it took us about 30min to get back to WL, because we had to stop off at one of the water parks (can't remember which one) to pick up more people. !! now that was long!!
