Taxi Seats

Do the taxis around WDW utilize the seat in the front? There will be four of us this time, and I was hoping to only need one taxi.

Most taxi will allow someone to sit up front but it up to them so just ask if your on disney property they most likely will not say no. They dont want you to complain to disney they get in trouble from mears if disney complians have fun.

On the side of the cab, it says, "5 can ride for the price of 1."

I don't see how they could fit 5 passengers in the back seat.

(BTW, any one remember when the the real Checker Cabs had the folding seats in the back? I have vague memories of sitting on something like a stool in the back of a NY taxi when I was a kid on a family outing to Radio City Music Hall.)

yeah i dont know if it a new york thing but they now have ford escape taxi that not only have a divider for the back but one for the front seat. So the driver is in his little plastic box i guess they finally relizie that the front passanger can rob them just like the back ones.
