Taxi question

If someone were to take a taxi from their off site resort to a park would the taxi be able to drop them off directly at Epcot (for example) or would it drop them off at the Transportation & Ticket Center?

We've taken cabs from our resort to both EP and AK for early breakfasts. It's always dropped us off near where the busses drop off resort guests. There was a cab lane that they were able to take up to where the busses drop off.

MK is the only place that taxis are not allowed. Everywhere else, you will be dropped off at your destination.

Thank you! What about an off site hotel shuttle? Can they go directly to the parks (except MK)?

Hotel shuttles are allowed to go to the parks but some choose not to. Some hotels I have stayed at only have a shuttle to Epcot and the TTC. You need to use Disney transportation to get to the other parks.

Some shuttles go to all 4 parks (TTC for MK). Others go only to TTC or only to Epcot.

Most shuttles run only a few times per day. Some require advance reservations, and some charge a fare. They drop off and pick up in open areas with no shelters or benches. AK has a small shelter at the edge of the lot, and at TTC & Epcot you can wait under the Disney bus shelters and run out to your shuttle when you see it coming in. DHS has some benches, but no shelters.
