Taxi question

Can anyone give me some examples of taxi costs at WDW?

We are going on a Fireworks cruise on July 4th and I don't really want to deal with the disney bus from Poly back to beach club (with a stop in between at Downtown Disney, right?)

We'll need 2 taxis (to include 2 car seats) for all 8 of us.

Anyone have advice on the best way to go about this?

Simply go to the Bell Services stand at the porte cochere of each resort and ask for 2 taxis. It is appropriate (but not required) to tip the bellperson who summons the taxis for you.

I did the same thing in reverse 4 months ago. We were staying at Poly and did an IllumiNations cruise at the Yacht/Beach Club dock. We, a family of 4, took a taxi each way. I believe it ran maybe $20 + tip each way.
