Taxi prices

Hi

In June we will be staying at the Howard Johnston Maingate West. As I'm a bit of a karaoke queen, we're hoping to have a night at the Black Angus karaoke evening. However, I may need to build up some Dutch courage throughout the night....!

That being the case, I was wondering if anyone could give a rough price estimation for the taxi fare from the hotel to the Black Angus on the corner of Old Lake Wilson Road?

We stayed in the area last year and (as far as I can remember), the distance can only be about 5-6 miles at the most between the hotel and the restaurant.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

That's a good question! I have stayed at the HoJo Maingate West before but can't help answer your question about the taxi as we have never taken one.

I am sure someone else can help

Sorry, don't really know where either of those places are. However, we got a taxi from Universal to the Holiday Inn last year (about 3 miles) and it was around $8. A taxi from I-Drive to Disney was just over $30 (about 16 miles) so I would think it should be around $10-$15.
