I'm assuming there are shuttle buses that run between LAX and the DLH .. Does the hotel offer a shuttle or do I need to go third party?

It will be 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant.

Most DLR area hotels would not offer a shuttle between the hotel and LAX (closer hotels to the airport do, but not to DL). Some hotels offer a shuttle between the hotel and DL (or you could use ART for that).

It's easy to book a shuttle or the DL Express from LAX to your hotel though. Taxi would be quite expensive (we were quoted $95/way). We much preferred the DL Express to a shuttle van though - took less time and more comfy.

If you do the Gray Line Tours operated Official Disneyland Express, you will not need to bring car seats. It also makes it's first stop at the DLH, so it's brainless.

You can visit the Gray Line website and even get a coupon. Just be aware that lately, folks have been warning that there is another company out mis-representing themselves as the Disneyland Express. Make sure your bus is operated by Gray Line! Sometimes during busy seasons it won't be the buses with characters plastered all over the sides, but that is most often the bus you will see.
