Taxi in Miami

Does anyone have experience with getting a taxi at the cruise terminal in Miami after their cruise to go to the Miami airport? Are they hard to get? Are they there waiting?

No issues there are plenty of them waiting at the terminal area.

anyone ever use one to go to FLL or are we better off to have arranged transport? Our flight leaves at noon so we don't need a rental car as we are heading straight to the airport but definitely need to get right there so want something quick and reliable. I should mention we are a family of 5.
Any advice? Good limo companies?
