taxi from yacht club to pop?

I think we will take a taxi back to our resort (pop century) after dining at Yachtsman so we don't have to mess with getting to a park, then taking the bus.

I really don't ever take taxi's anywhere (except Vegas, so I am wondering if it will be a flat rate I should ask up front or will it be a per mile rate like in Vegas?

We took a cab from YC back to POP a few years ago...it was about $10, including tip. So, it may be a bit more than that now, but not too much. There are usually cabs at the resorts. Just let the valet people you need a cab and they can get one for you.

I just took that ride the other day, it was right around $12.

Taxis in WDW charge a "per mile" rate. As others have said, it'll be about $15 or so, plus tip. You can guestimate the rate using the Mears taxi calculator (Mears taxi and their affilitates are the only taxis that are allowed to pick-up passengers in WDW).
