Taxi from Contemporary to airport

Any one have any idea what the cost for a taxi from the Contemporary Resort to Orlando airport (mco) would cost ?
I only need taxi one way. Any cheaper ideas ?

I know a cab is at least 50 dollars when I called last year from the contemporary to the airport but I always take Mears shuttle and its works out good for me.

We use one of the limo services and pay $85 or $95 for a round trip to and from the airport. So I would expect $50 is about right for a taxi one way.

I paid $57 in April to take a taxi from the Polynesian to MCO. Used to be around $45.

It depends on how many people you have. The Mears shuttle is $28 per person, but thats for a round trip. Children are $20, and I see no listing for a One way ticket. I would just call when you get there and see what the price is.

We took a cab from DD to the poly and it was $25!!! I'm sure its probably more than double to go to MCO.

I did the opposite in December - a taxi one way from MCO to the Contemporary. It was around $50, not including tip. It was only me, but I don't think the price changes with the amount of people in a taxi.

Just a note, if you take one of the shuttles that handles many people at the same time such as Mear's. We had to wait in line, purchase our ticket at the air port then wait until they had a full load of people and then many stops on the way to your hotel. We just wanted to get to our hotel.

A taxi is "private", you can get one as soon as you get off the plane and it takes you directly to your hotel. Or you can make arrangement with a limo service and they will be waiting for you at the air port. With a family of 4 it is about the same price as the 'Bus load O-people" Services.
