,but would love to here from folks who have taken the taxi to US from Disneyland. We plan on doing a half to three quater day at US on our last day at Dl and i plan on going form DL to US and back to DL to close out the park.

and seen you can take a train to lA and then Publix tans RT to US what looks like around 20 to 30$ each give or take a buck here and there. We might opt to something like that,then we might be able to throw In Hollywood on top?. The only draw back Is the last train out of LA to anahiem leaves around 6pm. I would go with the greyline tour typ but they will not leave the park untill closeing and If you want to leave early you stuck In the park.Theres also the option of doing the package with the tour of la and hollywood? but again they offer no time schedule?. Lost of opption but thanks for yiour Input that was real usefull I did not know the distance between the two.

Looks like a 1 day park ticket to Universal plus round trip transportation from a DL area hotel is 88.99, this is for transportation through Southern California Gray Line.
Let me just say though, we went to US last year and it was not anywhere near as good as DL
Actually the subway fare is free with your Metrolink ticket, so that helps a bit. See page 19 of the Metrolink guide. That being said I think the Gray Line tour might work best for the OP. Door-to-door is nice. (But I'm not opposed to public transit - I'll be taking taking Metrolink/Red Line to downtown this week for the Pac-10 BB tournament this week. Beats the heck out of driving.)
