We did last trip Beach Club to POFQ - pretty quick ride! We took quite a few cab rides last trip, and this was our cheapest. Wish I remember exact, but I know that including a tip it was no more than $12.

thanks for the reply. this helps get a gauge on how much to budget for taxis. it will be our first trip and it is hard to really visualize the distance between two resorts.

did you by any chance take a cab from pop century to por? this would probably be our only other taxi ride as we plan on using the disney bus system and the downtown ferry from por.

oh, and great fireworks pics by the way:thumbsup2

You do realize that every resort can be reached thru the transportation hub at MK or at each park, right? So, unless "time" is the reason, save your $$ and take the bus, or if you go to DTD, you can bus or boat it to por!
have a good trip!

thanks for the transfer info. i am just figuring that after a full day at a park and then going to another resort for dinner, we will be ready to just get back to the hotel as soon as possible. we are not late night people so i may not have enough energy to wait for a couple of buses or a boat on those nights!

Nope, never did a taxi between Pop and POR. Probably a little bit more than the other one?
We take taxis usually 2-5 times per trip. Try to figure it's cheaper than having rented a car in the first place. We do it always to BC to have breakfast at Cape May, and sometimes do it other times if short on time or just tired and don't feel like waiting for the buses and getting transportation from another resort to a park and then to our resort. a 10-15 minute ride, if that, is better to us than an hour, hour plus with transportation.
