taxi costs

hiya
we are taking the non driving option(hubby drives for a living he wants a rest )what would a taxi cost from i drive to all star movies roughly?also can you walk from the crossroads to dtd,my hubby wanted to stay on idrive but i wanted to stay on site(needless to say i won the argument as always)so he has to settle for going to i drive to have a look around,was thinking of getting bus there and taxi back that way we don't have to worry about traveling back late with the kids

When we get into orlando at the Amtrak station we take a cab to all stars. i want to say it was around 30is, with a tip. plus you pay also on the way back. My husband doesnt like to drive while we are there. Plus we find if we go to Sea World, the mears bus at all stars was around 10 per person last year, its easier than fighting the traffic. Hope this helps.

There is a sidewalk all the way from Crossroads to the Marketplace so walking is possible. I would guess the distance has to be 3/4 mile to 1 mile. Plenty of trees and shade, but the hotels are set well back so you will have to run some way if caught by a rainstorm!. Goodings at Crossroads has a (free?) telephone to call for taxis.

I can't remember what I paid for my taxi ride, but it seemed much the same as I would have expected to pay most anywhere for the distance.

From the airport to CSR the cab cost 48.50 not including tip. Yes you could walk to Goodings. Nice tree lined street with sidewalks.
