I noticed that there is a Target that seems to be relatively close. Approx. how much would cab fare be to Target from the Grand Californian? Is it a "good" Target, or kinda a b-lister? Thanks!

The Target on Euclid and Lincoln is about 2 miles away and is a nice, new one with some grocery items, no produce. The Target on Harbor Blvd in Garden Grove is 3+ miles away and I'd call it B list. Neither are SuperTargets, though - none of those in OC. Don't know about taxi fare, but 2 miles shouldn't cost that much.

If you check out the Anaheim Resort Transit map, one of the routes has stops all around the Target on Harbor at Chapman.

An all day pass, with unlimited rides, is $3.00

It seemed like a normal Target to me, it wasn't a Super Target and I don't remember seeing much in the way of food. There was a Dollar Bonanza next to it. (I was looking for rain ponchos, Target was all out and I found the last Adult one at the Dollar Bonanza)

I presume you're talking about the Target on Harbor Blvd near Chapman. Yes, the one on Euclid is better IMO, but isn't easy to get to via public transit from DLR.

I was wondering why you thought that one was better? I never knew there were more then one Target in the area. Maybe we'll have to try that one instead.

It's large, fairly new (opened in summer 2008) and has a significant grocery/staples section. No produce but they do have several aisles of refrigerated/frozen items - the Harbor Blvd Target doesn't have that . Plus there's a mini-Starbucks near checkout if that's a plus for you (doesn't do anything for me).
