Taxi Cabs

I was wondering if anyone has used a Taxi to get from resort to destination quickly?? If so, how much did it cost you?
We will be staying at the Polynesian in November and I was wondering how much it would be to get us from say the Poly........to AK or MGM?? what about Downtown Disney?
Just trying to come up with alternatives to the buses.

I've never taken at cab at WDW before, but last week at the AKL, they told us a cab to the GF (or anywhere in the MK area) would be $25. Needless to say, we decided to take the bus. I don't know if all destinations are that expensive. I would hope not!
