I'll be at WDW December 4-6 with my mom and 2 year old dd. Has anyone ever used a taxi before to get anywhere on property, and do they provide a car seat? I don't want to rent a car, but there may be a time or two when a taxi would be convenient, but I don't want to drag a car seat with me. Does anyone have any advice?

It is against Florida law to put a 2 year old in a seat belt. A reputable taxi company will be able to provide a child seat for your kid. The hotels at Disney have Mears transportation on the stand and all you should do is tell the bellman you want a taxi that provides a child seat. If you call Mears for a timed taxi pick up tell them you need a child seat. If try to pick up a gypsey cab on the resort they will tell you a child seat is not needed. They lie.
