After months of planning I now have our room reservations, our tickets to MVMCP and Cirque and am waiting for the window to open to make a ressie at Chef Mickeys. My question is--what percent is added for tax on food and beverages in Florida? Also, when we pay for Chef Mickey's does that include tax on the meal, and tip? I am getting down to the nitty gritty here and working on paying for our meals so I want to be as accurate as possible. Thanks for your info! Ann:)

no i don't think the price listed includes tax/tip. the tax rate is 6.5%. good luck on getting chef mickey!

I agree with Disney Queen. The HDD review and what ever the Luau is called now include both tax and tip in the price. I don't know of any other meals that do.

Thanks for your replies, 6.5% is better than here at home, we have a 7% tax. Yay, a break on something at Disney World for us!;)
