This is the first year that I have done surveys for payment, so I'm a little lost when it comes to tax information on these.

Do these count as income? Will I get a W2 from any of them? Several of the companies, I made negligible amounts, but I did make $600 from one. When I go to the web sites, there is no information on this.

Anyone have any ideas?

TIA!
Anna

I would imagine if you got $600 or more from ONE SITE that that site would send you a 1099. Most business are required to send 1099 to anyone that they paid more then $600 to. If you made under $600 then they may or may not send you one. But you are required to report ALL income regardless of where it comes from or if they send you are 1099.
