I am about to have heart failure here. I'm trying to do my taxes and for some reason when I enter my dd14's information, this program is telling me that she does not qualify as my dependent. Anyone have a clue??

Do you have her correct social security number? Also, are you trying to take Child Care Credit. My dd went to summer camp and we were able to claim that up until she turned 14.

Ya know, I feel like an idiot. I didn't have her social security number typed in and that caused the whole thing to be wrong. Other years, I've bypassed it until I had a chance to look up her number (I don't have it memorized).
