What is the tax % at the restaurants and gift shops. I know the resorts have a higher tax but I can't remember what the regular tax rate on purchases was. Anyone know off the top of their head??

Taxes are 6.5% on meals/merchandise and 11% on resorts rates.

Thank you so much...I'm working on the food budget and that helps a ton....wish ours was as low...we pay 9% tax!

Most of Disney is located in Orange County. The sales tax on meals/merchandise is 6.5% and 11.5% on room rates.

The All Star resorts are located in Osceola County where the sales tax is 7% and the room tax is 12%.
