Have any of you gotten your tax refunds yet?

I'm on pins and needles waiting! Mine's sending me to WDW. :teeth:

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take? We went through Turbo Tax, and it's showing a date of 1/26, but the IRS website is showing a date of 2/6. :confused3 I don't remember it taking that long in the past.

I haven't gotten mine yet. The IRS website is telling me 1/30, but I really don't think it will take that long. I've never waited more than 2 weeks when I filed electronically, so I'm expecting it by the end of the week. Oh wait... that is almost the 30th anyway. Maybe they're close to accurate this year!

The IRS is delayed in processing early submitted returns because they're still working on adding in some exemptions that were not signed into law until late in the year. :)

We haven't even gotten all of our tax papers/forms/whatevers yet. Like Bob said, they are recommending you not file until early Feb this year so they have all the current updates ready. If you have filed already you might want to recheck them in mid Feb or so to make sure you don't have more money coming (or have to pay in more).

Sheesh, not only have I not gotten my refund-- I haven't even gotten all our W-2s yet.

Not that I'm in a huge hurry to get them, because I think we're going to be owing quite a lot. :sad2:

still waiting for the w-2's....legally companies have until 1/31 to provide them to you. oh well.....

Nope. Sadly I'm still waiting on a couple of forms to come in the mail. Everything else is sitting here waiting.

DH's companies have always been good about getting them to him early to mid January. But there have been times when we've had to wait until AFTER February to get them from the Church (he's a choir director). I don't know if churches are exempt from that, or if they just thought nobody would complain.

I filed online with Turbo Tax on the 16th. I got my state refund this morning. Turbo Tax said I should have my federal by 1/26. That money is already spent in my head, so I can't wait to get it.

You guys are good! We have not done our taxes yet. I have a home business, so it makes it a bit more complicated.

We'll have to keep each other occupied while we're waiting! :teeth:

Have you checked your date on the irs website? I don't remember getting two different dates like that in the past. There's a two week difference.

(although I do see a few of you are saying there might be a hold up... I hope not! I'm ready for a shopping spree. :lmao: )

I'll probably start entering information into Turbo Tax this weekend, but we won't be able to file until mid February.

We have to wait for a Schedule K-1, and the company's website says they'll be available February 15. Fortunately, this year they're providing a version of the form that can be downloaded and imported directly into Turbo Tax.

A quick heads-up -- Turbo Tax's version of the K-1 form isn't complete yet either. I got partway through entering (estimated) info into our K-1 form and TT stopped me and said that the final K-1 form will be available for updating on Feb. 1st.

We don't get DHs W-2 until January 31. The last possible day. So we are waiting, waiting, waiting.

We usually have our refund by the middle of February.

:thumbsup2 Thanks Bob!

Haven't received all the paper work to file yet.

:thumbsup2 Thanks Bob!

No problem. :) We're waiting on DW's final K-1 form as well, but in the meantime, they were at least nice enough to provide estimated numbers so we could get a general idea of how painful April might be. :scared:

LOL, we have our W2s, but since DH is on TDY until Feb 10th we have to wait to file..its killing me! After paying off some stuff we are using the rest to visit our family in FL..we didn't get to go home at all last year so I am excited LOL. We always hit the theme parks too!

I have yet to get any of my tax information forms yet.
