Do we still get a mailed document sent to us. The one on my DVC doesn't have a DVCMC address on it when I print it out. Looks nothing like I use to get each year.
The only things you may receive are the Annual Dues Statement and (if financed by DVC) a Mortgage Interest Statement (IRS Form 1098). There is no IRS form to report property taxed paid.
If you can itemize and deduct the ad valorem taxes (aka property taxes), you need to refer to the Annual Dues Statement.
I have been a member since 2002 and was always sent the statement below. I checked and still have the mail from the last 10 years. Just wanted to know if anyone is getting them. The statement on line doesn't have a
dvcmc address attached.
We always get ours as well, but we just paid off the loan this last year, so who knows if we will next year. That being said, I just find it easier to log on and look up the information rather than trying to keep track of the paper.
UPDATE ON annual dues statement. I called and she know right away the issue.
Reason I didn't get my usual statement this year in the mail was because sometime last year I oped for electronic mail with DVC.
Therefore if you have recently oped for electronic mail for DVC you will not get the yearly tax statement in the mail.
