Hello :)

I wondered if someone could tell me if the menus on the wdw site include tax? If not can someone tell me how much the tax will be? Also when we arrive and are actually in the restaurants do the menus still have tax exclusive prices? One last question! I'm european and as such would tip 10% of the total bill - is that an appropriate amount? too little/too much??

Thank you in advance :goodvibes

the tax is not included either on either menu.... also use the menus online as a guide as the prices can change. The tax is 7. something %. Tipping see the top sticky...... It however would seem the norm for tips is closer to or at least 20% these days depends on who you ask... or a better answer is 18% is automatically added for larger parties as I said see the sticky....

1) Sales tax, in addition to menu price = 6.5%
2) Tip, in addition to menu price = 15% good service to 18% great service

NOTE:
There is no such thing as a normal USA tip of 20%.
Some just don't know and over tip.
Americans like to over tip.
As you know, such tips in some Euro eateries is truly an insult.

Thanks guys - thanks for the heads up with the sticky - I'll go and read it now :)

When calculating tip, the percentage is based on pre-tax amount, not the final total including tax. If you are a party of 6 or more, an 18% tip will automatically be added to your bill.
