Ok this is prolly a really stupid question. But I have never been to WDW and never had a Deluxe Dining Plan Experience before- so here is my question. Is the tax included for TS, CS, and Sig. Dining? And what about the snack credits? Thanks!

That's correct... Tax is included on the Disney Dining Plans, but not gratuity.

whew what a relief! I was getting confused because I was reading some TR's and they would give total price while on the plan and total oop... and they would say oop would include drinks, tip, and tax. So they are actually paying tax on their alcohol drinks then and not tax on the overall meal. I was expecting to tip but not to add a tax bill too! Thanks everyone!

Hm. I do believe drinks aren't on the DDP. (if im wrong, someone please correct me.)

They could just be stating that it included all that, just so the people reading it would know what they would have to pay, tax included. Whereas, on the DDP, they wouldn't need to be as concerned, since they just use a credit.

Did that make sense?

The dining plans include a non-alcoholic fountain drink (e.g. soda, coffee, tea, lemonade). At some of the Disney owned restaurants you can get milkshakes, smoothies, or virgin cocktails - ask first. At the non-Disney owned venues they are much more strict because they are reimbursed according to the limitations of the dining plan so only the fountain drinks are allowed. Alcoholic drinks and drinks in souvenir cups are excluded at all venues.

I imagine in the trip reports the OP was reading they were refering to alcoholic drinks or specialty beverages for which they had to pay OOP and thus had to pay tax as well.

I meant to say alcohol drinks! Doh, thanks for stepping in! :)
