Can anyone explain the tax on the 2025 Quick Service Plan here? Should it not be 6.5%?

This is a great question. WDW really should clarify this better.

I just had the dining plan last night for one night at Fort wilderness. Everything is listed as a separate line item in your folio for each person on the plan. One line for the item, one line for the Orange County tax.

Mug 4.03
Tex 0.26
Snack 5.50
Tax 0.36
2 QS meals 44.00
Tax 2.86

There is your $57.01

^This was August with the 2024 pricing. The breakdown showed $3.58 tax for one day of QS DDP. Which means the plan was $53.55 before tax. ???? Just like the pre-tax price this year? Something is wrong. The pre-tax price is the same while the after tax price $2.13 higher?

I think 2025’s $53.55 pre-tax pricing is a typo? Should be $55.55, then with itemized rounded 6.5% sales tax would hit $59.14

Looks like someone at Disney Parks updated the final pricing, but not the pre-tax pricing. That’s my guess.

It is showing that it is more expensive for me.

QS per night after tax $59.14
TS per night after tax $97.79

Those are the adult prices per day for a trip in Jan of 2025.

May very well be.
