can i ask where one looks to look up tax info on houses for rent ?? i have the address and dame of person renting the house but just duno where to look for tax info to make sure everything ok

thanks for the info, tho i did not find the address anywhere on there but i did learn that the house was just bought at the end of 2009 i think lol..

You need the tax collector site for Polk as that is where Davenport is

are you sure it is Lane -could it be Drive?

Davenport is in Polk County so if you want more info on tax payments you should go to http://www.polktaxes.com/onlinepayments/propertyandbusinesstaxsearchandpay.asp and search by the owner's name.

After you find the correct name, click on the name and go to the tax record. At the bottom of the record, it will show the date and amount paid in 2009 and the last section of the record is titled Prior Year Taxes Due. If the owner's record is clear it should say "No Delinquent Taxes."

The tax info I gave you was for Osceola County, you need Polk county for Davenport:

Put in this number: 26-25-01-488031-001930
For some reason the address isn't coming up at all but the info is there using the Parcel ID which I figured out from searching for the addresses near it.
If you put the address in maps.google.com you will find that the addresses match.
