ok so i have two feet tattoos and one is on my heal but the other is on the side of my foot sort of on top. Is this going to have an effect on where i go or if i even get in? Thinking about it now i should have waited to get that other tattoo

I dunno, but I think you should cover them with Dermablend, which is water-resistant.

If they're on your heal and the top of your feet , maybe closed shoes
would work .

I had my interview today and she asked me if I had any tattoos and I said a few (i have 7) most of them arent visible but I do have one on the back of my neck 2 on my wrist and one on my ankle, she told me as long as theyre less that 2 inches by 2 inches ill be fine and they can only be covered up by theatrical makeup, no bandaids or watches etc. because they could fall off.

I have one on my hand and my interviewer (for fall 2009) told me that theatrical make up will only be allowed for character performer, Hospitality, FSFB and Merchandise. I dont know why its that way? Maybe because its airconditioned? Or maybe it was just my interviewer... but she took me off of my other roles because of it.

With feet tattoos, you can wear sneakers or something and for wrist tattoos most of the time you can wear long sleeves

yeah my interviewer didn't mention not being allowed to do any certain roles or taking me off of any but also i applied for hospitality, merchandise, rides and the front gate one so maybe i had enough that it would be okay because she said as long as makeup covers it then i am fine. but also some of the roles i applied for you may have to wear like heels or flats and that was why i was concerned but i tested it out the other day just with coverup and powder with panyhose and you really couldnt see it. I was walking around my house with one knee high on and a pair of flats going up to everyone in my family like "can you see my tattoo" they all thought i was crazy:laughing:

Just finished my interview. She said they have a tattoo chart that tells them what roles are available depending upon where your tattoo is and how big it is. I applied for Character Performer, Character Attendant, Photopass, and Attractions and she said for each of those I would be fine as long as it was covered all the time with makeup.

I guess my interviewer last semester was out of the tattoo loop ;)

Cover it with crew-height socks. For one thing, those socks are typically more comfortable (less chance of being bitten by bugs and then having your shoes rubbing on the bite, anyway). I have six tattoos and never once had a problem with covering them. Most are covered by a regular shirt, but one's on my mid-calf and another's on my right wrist. For the one on my calf, I had the "option" of wearing pants, but I covered it with large band-aids until my manager busted me. For the one on my wrist, I wore a watch with a wide face (it's shaped in such a way that a watch can easily cover it). It is possible to hide them, you just have to be vigilant about it.

If the socks don't work out because of the height of your tattoo (which it doesn't sound like that would be a problem), I'm sure you could wear pants. Any role that has shorts as an option also has pants, for cooler weather. I'm not sure about skirts, though. From the costumes I can remember that had skirts, most of them came down to mid-calf or lower. I don't remember if any of them were shorter than that.
