Tattoo Question

Does anyone know if you are unable to get a tattoo if you are on blood thinners?? Is there a checklist they go over with you before they give the tattoo??

I didn't check out the link, but both my FIL and Step Dad were on blood thinner recently and they both bruised like there was no tomorrow. I would say NO due to the fact you blood is not clotting like it should.

I don't think it would be a good idea to get one while on blood thinners. Just my thoughts.

when you say blood thinners do you mean like asprin or like coumadin.if it asprin maybe,coumadin i would say probaly not. but i would call your doctor.don't ask the tatto artist about this.if your car broke down would you call a plumber?a tatto artist is trained in tattos not medicine.call and ask a medical professional.

A good tattoo artist won't even tattoo you if you are drinking alcohol (it also thins the blood) so no, if you are on blood thinners no tat for you.

Nope you won't and shouldn't do it. And yes a reputable tattoo artist will be able to tell you.
