Wow, that looks aweseome! Translated so much better than I imagined it! They did a great job and I am so glad he loves it!

Still working on my 2nd one. Mostly because I am not sure I want to spend the money on one at this time. BUt I am pretty sure of the design. That always takes me the longest to figure out. It will be there forever and I need to make sure I get it right :teeth:

I always go a bit bonkers after I have a baby :teeth: After my first child I had my nose pierced, second child I had a tattoo on my right shoulder blade, third child I had my belly button pierced, and finaly my fourth child I had a tattoo around my belly button. The tattoo around my belly button really hurt :( I dont regret having any of them done and probably will have another tattoo done on my hip. I have found it very addictive I dont know if anyone else does ??

That is what DH said after this one (his first)
he says it is an addicting feeling and is already planning out his 2nd and third
tattoos

he is waiting a bit to give me a chance to get one if I want
since as expensive as they are we won't be doing them all at once

So you've not quite decided on the placement? (or maybe you have...)

Phew glad im not the only one :rotfl: I think both of my tattoos where £30 each (they are not that big )not sure what that works out to be in dollars ? How much are they in the US?

The one DH got was $160.00
and there is hardly any color to it

His next one is gonna be something for our daughters

just have to design it yet

Wow Not sure that would be that much over here. It does look good so I guess its worth it :)

Okay.

I know some people don't like needles.

Ah you can summons enough braveness and boldness to receive the ink injections then...

(Have you finally decided where yet?)

Im not a lover of needles thats why I went for the one on my shoulder blade. That way I couldn't see what was going on. Its been a few years since I had that one done but I cant remember it being painful. The one around the belly button I had done 3 years ago and that was really painful.

kaylajr, that did turn out nice. I actually like tats without color, I've never seen an older tattoo with color that still looks great (without touch ups).
I have one on the nape of my neck (it's Stephen King/Dark Tower related), love it there. If I want it to show I wear my hair up, if my hair is down no one knows I have it.

Does it hurt to have it done on the nape of the neck?

Not really, best way to describe it is a deep scratchy feeling. Felt like a sunburn afterwards.

Okay, thanks.

So was the feeling of having the ink injected into you okay enough for you to be prepared to have it done again some time, if you wanted more ink?

It was not uncomfortable enough to stop me from getting another one, but I have no desire to. I'm not one who finds it addicting.

Thanks. So you didn't find it too nasty a feeling with the ink being shot into you, then. (Some people can't stand it!)

I just the appt at my lunch break....I get my next Tat on Thursday night!!!!
