I have read several threads how to save move using the the Raise website to buy Target gift cards, then buying Disney gifts cards and using the Target Red discount, getting a nice deal.

Does anyone know if this is a better strategy than buying $150 worth of gift cards from Sam using your Disney Visa? The cards are $142 and then you also get your Disney rebate using this credit card.

Every Raise Target eGiftCard I see listed says in the details section, "Gift cards may not be used toward the purchase of other gift cards." So I'm not even sure if that would work, would it?

I've saved an average of 10% doing the raise/target combo. The target cards at raise.com have been at a low discount lately. I would wait out of you can and try to wait until the target cards are at least discounted 5%. The best I have gotten is 10% but there haven't been much at that discount.

Target considers Disney Gift Cards "Entertainment Cards" which is why the Target Gift Card and the 5% RedCard Discounts both work to purchase them.

Sams club doesn't accept visa, I used to work there and they only accepted Discover and MasterCard. I would call and double check before incase something changed in the last year but they didn't when I was there.

My SAMs club doesn't accept Visa cards so I either just charge them to my SAMs card or get them at Target.

Sam's accepts VISA if it's a check card. I can use my VISA check card there as a credit and it works.

You would think Sam's would either take Visa or not. My local Sam's do take Visa and Samsclub.com takes Visa

Does anyone know if you can use the Disney gift cards for tips at restaurants? We have the dining plan for our January trip but I know it doesn't include tips. Thx.

Sam's online does take Visa and shipping is free. Last year I got ebates credit with these as well, but it seems that they stopped this now.
