Has anyone been to Target yet today for the televisions series dvds that are $18.88? What have you found for that price? I am thinking that these will make great Christmas gifts, but my store was sold out of a lot of them. I was going to get rain checks, but I figure I will check another Target first. Mine had One Tree Hill, Friends, Everybody loves Raymond, Wonder Woman, Gilligans Island, West Wing, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Dukes of Hazzard, Lois and Clark, the Waltons and probably a few that I can't remember. Some of these were $45 regular price!

FWIW, when there's a big sale like that, I usually just take my ad to Walmart and have them match the prices. Since it's not their sale, Walmart usually has the items in stock. I don't have the patience for rain checks! :teeth:

How would Walmart know which ones are on sale other than those pictured? The ad says those pictured and selected others. Does anyone know which ones are included in this sale? Thanks!

I was referring to items that are actually shown in the ads. It's just easier (if the item is in the ad) to take it to Walmart than to search every Target, or Sears, etc. in my area.

Actually, though, cashiers at my Walmart are trained to give the customer the benefit of the doubt when they say something is cheaper somewhere else. (I'm sure people abuse this, but I guess Walmart feels its worth it to keep customer's happy). :confused3 So, I could actually tell them which other ones were on sale at Target and they would likely match the price. If the price difference is considerable, they would have the customer go to customer service where the employee would call the other store to verify the price.

I can't speak for every Walmart, but that's how it's done at the one I frequent (and believe me when I say "frequent" :teeth: )

ETA: I do this on Black Friday. I get all my ads together and get the items at Walmart (if they have them). It's just easier than fighting crowds in 10 different stores.

I am sure that I am forgetting some, but my Target had the ones in the first post along with Nip and Tuck and Full House. One Target had them all displayed on the large wall and they were nearly sold out. The other Target had them spread throughout the movie section and they had a lot more in stock. I really had to hunt to find them because they were in four different places.

Does anyone know if the OC season 2 was included or if it was season 1? My sister has season one and would love season 2 as well and her birthday is coming up.

Too bad they don't include Lost and CSI! Those are the two that I'd buy.

Our WalMarts won't do a lot of the price matching on Black Friday especially sales that have a specific time limit like "shop before noon and it's price #1, shop noon-6 PM and it's price #2, etc" even if you are buying the item at WalMart during those times.

I've done the last two Black Fridays at my Walmart. They do stick to the time limits in other stores' ads. The only deals they won't match, though, are BOGO.

In addition to the ones already mentioned, my Target had:

Without a Trace 1
Fresh Prince 1

I am thinking these might be nice for me to watch on the next 16 hour drive to WDW!

Does anyone know which season of The OC was on sale? Thanks!

I don't think that the OC was included. I had originally listed it, but after I went to Target a second time I saw that it was One Tree Hill and not OC onsale. I editted my original post yesterday to fix that. Sorry.

My store was out of these on Sunday. I was there yesterday and they had season 1 and 2 on an end cap near the cash registers.
